Why Professional Detailing Goes Far Beyond a Standard Car Wash
Swirl marks, thinning clear coat and dried-out leather are the hidden cost of the wrong wash.

The danger of improper washing
Automatic brushes, dirty sponges and a single bucket of water drag grit across the paint. Each wash adds fine scratches that catch the light in circles — the swirl marks you see in direct sun.
Professional detailers use the two-bucket method, pH-neutral shampoo, grit guards and plush microfiber so dirt is lifted away from the surface, not ground into it.
Paint correction principles
Paint correction is the controlled removal of a microscopic layer of clear coat to level out scratches and swirls. It is done in stages — compounding, then polishing, then refining — with a machine polisher and carefully matched pads.
Preserving clear-coat thickness
Factory clear coat is thinner than a sheet of paper. A good detailer measures it with a paint-depth gauge and removes only what is necessary, so the car can be corrected safely again in the future.
Interior and leather care
Leather dries, cracks and fades without proper care, especially under tropical heat. Detailing includes gentle cleaning, conditioning and UV protection to keep it supple and rich in colour.
